Has anyone lost weight just eating three meals a day and no snacks?

that's it in a nut shell - I want to know if this has worked for anyone? Or something similar - say three meals and one small 4th meal/snack?

I only eat three meals, with no dessert and no snacks generally. Its not the amount you eat, its what you eat. You need to do some kind of counting - whether its calories, syns, ww points or carbs.

Good question-I've often thought that may be the key to weight loss. I never used to eat between meals when I was growing up, nowadays probably eat every couple of hours.

I eat mostly porridge or all bran, a ramakin full of either and the same in milk ( I like same and same for porridge as it socks well)

usually home made vegetable soup/ bean soup leek and potao etc for lunch or fish and green salad

dinner is omelette, beans on toast spag bo, pasta and pesto with salad (chopped cucmber/onion/tomato) and vegetables - more salad and veg than pasta.

I haven't tryed syns or ww

ivy that sounds like really healthy eating, do you actually need to lose weight?

I would like to lose half a stone or 7ilb or even 3 kg Grin as clothes getting a bit tight.

So have cut out the snacks between meals - as I thought that might help. I do have a banana after sports
