Here is the spreadsheet

Add your latest weight here and then and crow/moan about it afterwards!

I added myself but I'm still 10st 2lbs. So no weight loss for 2 weeks. I fell off the wagon and ate some naughties so I'm trying very hard this week to keep focused. What I hated the most was consoling myself (for not having lost weight) with yet more chocolate. What a drongo!

Anyway, looking forwards now and convincing myself that next week will be different.

MNP · 22/05/2012 14:25

Amended my weight and am very pleased to be only 1lb higher than previous after a dicey 2 weeks, onwards.

survivingspring · 22/05/2012 15:46

Only lost 1lb but a varied effort this week - lots of exercise but a terrible weekend so don't really deserve to lose any more. Onwards and downwards next week....Smile

heartstart · 22/05/2012 16:23

Thanks hepsi will give them a call tomorrow and let you know.

MsRinky · 22/05/2012 17:11

Don't get too excited about spaghetti squash, I found it really meh.

If you're looking for something to sit in the pasta-shaped gap, butternut or courgette done with a julienne peeler is much nicer, as are slivered runner beans.

heartstart · 22/05/2012 17:13

Ok done the courgette and runner bean thing will try butternut

BIWItheBold · 22/05/2012 17:16

Or you could order some shirataki noodles:

BerylStreep · 23/05/2012 16:47

88kg this morning. Still haven't got back to where I was, but I feel good, and am finding this woe very easy and second nature. Still need to drink more water though.

BIWItheBold · 24/05/2012 06:33

Tantalisingly close to the 9s - weighed in at 10.0 and 1/2 this morning

smokinaces · 24/05/2012 09:00

Fingers crossed by Monday biwi.

BIWItheBold · 24/05/2012 09:16

Absolutely, smokin. Progress for me has been very slow over the last few weeks. Mind you, my own bad behaviour probably has a lot do with that Grin

smokinaces · 24/05/2012 09:18

I lost nothing last week and a measley pound the week before.

I reigned in the snacks, few berries and yogurt. And this week I'm already on track for two pounds down, hoping for three by Monday. You'll do it :-)

BIWItheBold · 24/05/2012 09:23

I think perhaps a return to Bootcamp rules could benefit many of us!

Jacaqueen · 24/05/2012 10:09

The scales of doom are refusing to drop. Keep putting on and losing the same 2lbs. But I have faith that my body has to respond at some point so I will just keep glugging away at the water and hope that I get a nice result by Monday.

heartstart · 24/05/2012 10:40

Biwi - you lookin'at me? You lookin at me? (I know v bad Robert de Niro impression
Cannot believe that I have put on 2lb this am despite, increasing fat, reducing dairy, drinking 4.5l water

WillieWaggledagger · 24/05/2012 12:35

yes biwi i am going back to bootcamp after saturday (have people round for lunch)

DoUntoOtters · 24/05/2012 13:46

But Willie, you have lost loads and consistently, too.

I know this because you were the same start weight as me, so I always check up on your progress when I put mine in the spreadsheet. Blush

In fact, I was going to ask you what a typical day's food was for you, as you are doing so much better than me well. Grin

Shimbo · 24/05/2012 16:12

OK i am confused big time! I have been weighing myself in the morning when I get up, which I did this morning and it showed a bit more loss. I then weighed myself this afternoon after eating and drinking several glasses of water and it showed no weight loss from when I started this WOE, so a difference between morning and afternoon of 4.5 lb!!! Argh I don't understand.

MsRinky · 24/05/2012 16:32

A litre of water weighs 2.2lbs. As soon as you eat and drink and then weigh yourself, you are also weighing the weight of the food and drink you've consumed.

Get up, go to the loo, weigh yourself. It's the lightest you'll be all day. But ultimately it doesn't really matter as long as you weigh at the same sort of time each week. After all, people who go to slimming clubs consistently weigh at whatever time their class is.

WillieWaggledagger · 24/05/2012 18:22

otters, thanks - though looking at the spreadsheet you have lost pretty consistently! but although i'm pleased with the way my weight is going (despite the 2lb gain since last weigh-in Hmm) the amount of processed meats has been creeping up, as has the amount of cheese and milk. I have had bacon, ham and smoked salmon nearly every day for the last couple of weeks (all three in a day I mean), and I want to get back to non-processed stuff for a bit as per bootcamp rules.

if you really are interested in a typical day, today i will have had:

breakfast: bacon with fried eggs (in butter)
lunch: ham and smoked salmon with mayo and salad plus dressing
supper: cauliflower cheese (using the recipe on the recipe thread) with steamed kale
snacks: 1 cup decaff coffee with milk (pretty good as I normally have two cups), piece of cheese

and water obv

so quite high in processed stuff. i think i could up veg too

DoUntoOtters · 24/05/2012 19:08

Just for the sake of a comparison, a typical day for me would be:

B: 2 egg omelette with bacon and mushrooms, made with a splash of cream and cooked in butter
L: 2 slices Torchon ham, spread with Philadelphia and rolled round a handful of rocket: small handful Brazil nuts/almonds
D: Slow-roast belly pork with buttered cabbage and brocolli

I think I'm doing 3 to 4 litres of water a day, and several black coffees

So it looks like you are eating more cheese/less meat than me, but it is obviously working for you. Grin

BIWItheBold · 25/05/2012 00:20

Shimbo - there's absolutely no point weighing yourself during the day. All you are doing is weighing yourself plus all the food and drink you have consumed!

Weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after you've been to the loo, and while you're still naked.

OP posts:
smokinaces · 25/05/2012 06:39

Still naked?! I'm never naked! I weigh with my pjs on Grin

BIWItheBold · 25/05/2012 07:23

The very first time I ever dieted I did get a tad obsessive Blush. I realised just how obsessive when I started to wonder if it would be better for me to take my contact lenses out before I weighed!

So GET NAKED!

And in other news, this morning I am 9.13 and 1/2

Woo hoo!
