I forgot to weigh myself this morning, so I'll do it tomorrow but I did weigh myself on Saturday and the amazing news was that my bmi was 24.80. Finally I'm under 25 and no longer officially overweight.

I have had a good few vodka and slimline tonics since, so am hoping that I won't have gained. Dashing off to the gym now just to burn off the vodka.

NigellasGuest · 21/05/2012 11:59

I have LOST 3lb!

For the first time in what seems like ages, I have actually LOST!

BIWI you're a star! Thanks and [un-mumsnetty Hugz)

I know you're right about the slow sustainable weight-loss BIWI. I'm just having a wobble as I am being really careful about what I eat and don't think that I'm allowing the carbs to creep! I'd just hoped to be half-way to my target by now (another 0.5lb to go!)

I have broken a lot of bad habits, like snacking in front of the TV, which is good.

Onwards and downwards!

MNP · 21/05/2012 13:39

Have added in, :( 221.2.

SharonGless · 21/05/2012 14:06

2lbs off for me this week so weighing in at 12 st 5. I haven't weighed this since my wedding day 7 years ago

MsRinky · 21/05/2012 14:11

Don't be sad MNP, I'm still winning the "prize" of being the fattest on the spreadsheet. And I'm short as well.

Livelongandprosper · 21/05/2012 15:08

Maintaining at 9st 2lbs.

I organised a family lunch for my dad's 80th birthday and saw relatives I hadn't seen for 4 years. Apparently I am looking fantastic!

MNP · 21/05/2012 15:30

Thanks MsRinky, have just realised i was so eager to try my new scales out that I have entered my clothed weight, so will do naked weigh in tomorrow morning and adjust.

MNP · 21/05/2012 15:32

Yeah LiveLongAndProsper.

I met some people I havent seen for 2 yrs who all thought I had lost weight, unfortunately I have gained almost 2stone since last seeing them but think I dress better ho hum.

BIWItheBold · 21/05/2012 16:39

It's lovely when people notice, isn't it? We were at PILs this weekend, and had several comments about how slim I am

Has anyone bought a spaghetti squash in this country? They look interesting and seem to be more readily available in US. I have bought some seeds but it will be a bit of a wait

moonshine · 21/05/2012 18:52

I've added myself and first week weight loss is, I'm sure, not accurate as I seemed to have dropped 3lbs overnight Shock. But I will declare at 6lbs off in week 1 and suffer the consequences next week.

GreenEyesAndHam · 21/05/2012 18:57

Moonshine right from the start, I've found that I will go a few days with no or very little change, then bam - lbs drop off overnight. Just go with it Grin

ohforfoxsake · 21/05/2012 20:08

Just marking my spot. All good, not much change, but its coming off. Smile

androbbob · 21/05/2012 21:13

A measly 0.5lb which is not good for my first week, but I guess I eased myself into it gently and it was also TOTM. Hoping for a better number next week and will endeavour to add more fat to my diet.

Creamtea1 · 21/05/2012 21:23

Evening ladies, 9st 13 this eve so that's the same as my (late) weight last week.

londonone · 22/05/2012 10:21

A pound down!

LoopingLizards · 22/05/2012 10:39

125 for me so I'm up three but not bad after two week holiday in U.S.
What really surprised me was how much I prefer this way of eating. I stuck to it as much as possible when away but visiting friends and relatives where the food on offer was an array of bagels, doughnuts and pizza was mostly what was on offer made it really hard when all i was craving was salad and meat. Ah well onwards and upwards!
Bootcamp for me this week!

NotMostPeople · 22/05/2012 10:43

3 lbs down this week, having only lost 1lb last week and finally reaching a BMI in the 'ideal' range and not 'overweight' I'm very happy.

11st 4 now, so the 10's are tantalisingly close.

LoopingLizards · 22/05/2012 10:44

Wow that spreadsheet is amazing. Not sure who dun it but Wow... I'm in awe!

BIWItheBold · 22/05/2012 11:16

It's brilliant, isn't it?!

BIWItheBold · 22/05/2012 11:16

heartstart nope. I've been looking too (recommended in the locarb gourmet, right?). Think the other name for it might be calabash, but it's prob not in season right now anyway. I did find This online so might be worth seeing who they supply to?
