Week 2 of WW and NO weight loss - gutted

I've got about 3 stones to loose and so joined Weight Watchers online and started following propoints. I lost 3lb the first week, and have just weighed myself this morning and haven't lost any weight. I'm really really disappointed. I've stuck to it rigidly and not even used my weeks worth of 'extra' propoints. I just thought so early on in my diet journey I would expect to loose anorher couple of pounds? Has anyone else experienced this? How do I not get disheartened? Sad

Is it TOTM?

If not I'd agree that if you stuck to it you would have expected to lose in week 2 especially with quite a bit to go, so it may be that weight watchers doesn't work for you.

No, only stopped breastfeeding a couple of weeks ago (DD2 is 7weeks old) so not expecting a period for another few weeks. Sad

It might be nearly TOTM, can ovulate within just a few hours of giving up feeding and then period 2 weeks later. Try another week and if no success then I suggest trying something different - eg BIMI bootcamp - or I do moderate carbs (no grains, no sugar) but have some fruit and dairy and high protein, low fat.

i don't want to be a complete downer but i lost bugger all on WW. i stuck to it religiously for 3-4 months before giving up having lost a grand total of 4lbs. i'm not sure why it didn't work for me, i lost 20lbs when i did WW about 7 years ago.

a fb friend of mine has lost loads with slimming world, i might give that a try if i can unclench and shell out for the weekly feeGrin

Hiya, don't be downhearted... Keep going. Lost 7lbs in 6 weeks. It's coming off, slowly - and that's very cool with me. In two weeks you've lost 3lbs. That's 1.5 per week - in perfect range, I would say.

You are supposed to use all your points though? and plus, just having stopped bf your body has to re-adjust again... Mine did.

Keep the faith. It might not be for you, but give it a bloody good try.

Good luck!
