Id already decided that today was d day and The diet was. Starting. Not a minute to soon by the looks of things, and I've done ok so far today.
I was at hospital today and it turns out I can't have the minor surgical procedure I need as a day case because of my weight. I can still have it done ,but it will need an overnight stay in hospital :(
Im embarrassed but not surprised to say that I tipped the scales at a massive 23stone :( the dial went all the way round. The surgeon was fab and lovely about it, said it wasn't an issue for him, other than that Ill need an overnight stay.
Talk about a wake up call
