Low Carb Breakfast and snack suggestions

Hi there, I am going to start Biwi's 2 week Bootcamp on Monday, having read through some of her and everyone else's brilliant threads...I can get my head around what to eat for lunch and tea, but struggling with anything other than eggs for breakfast...could anyone give me some suggestions for breakfast please and also snacks - although hoping of course to not need any snacks after a couple of days....need to shift about 10-12lbs and want to try and be sensible about it, so LC seems the way to go. Thanks everyone.

Raspberries (frozen are fab) and also almonds are a good snack.

I snack on ham, tiny pieces of tasty cheese, crab sticks and prawns.

I've been low-ish carbs for 2 months and although I started out eating eggs for breccie and nuts/seeds for snacks, I've gotten used to the diet now and eat such filling meals that I don't feel the need to eat breccie or snacks most days. Maybe some of my fave meal ideas will make good quick breccies for you though.

Avocado with salad.
Tinned fish with salad.
Full-fat Greek yoghurt with fruit.
A small sweet potato microwaved with hard cheese, butter and sprinkled with a nice seed mix.
Just have a coffee, but add stuff to it - proper cocoa powder if you can find it at the shops, or full-fat milk, or even butter! Grin

Is sweet potato not carbs though? I miss potato :(

I eat starchy veg/fruit sometimes, they're nutritionally worth it. I just avoid grains and beans and manage to be fairly low carb.

If you like potatoes then eat one or two, just don't eat a plate full :)

Ham and cheese. I eat Quorn variations of ham (veg person).

Sometimes a pile of almonds and a couple of squares of dark choc with fresh coffee. Yum.

Greek yog and berries.

Some cheese and coleslaw.

Oh I see, I cut out rice/pasta/potato/bread as much as I can so to me potato is a no no! I would love the sweet potato though so may use that as my carb allowence one day :)

Total 0% fat free Greek yoghurt is low carb and really thick and filling but about £1 per pot. When I was doing a low GI diet, I would have a Total yoghurt mixed with 25g Dorset cereal simply delicious museli and a sprinkling of artificial sweetener for breakfast (so low GI rather than zero carb). Would then have tuna/chicken salad for lunch and meat and veg for dinner. Worked for me.
