I've recently joined online and I'm a little confused, it seems like a LOT of food?? Chicken and meat and pasta (yum!) are free, and as much as you'd like?? Lots of fresh fruit and veg for free? How can you eat so much food and lose weight?

And also, does anyone know if you are an online member can you go to meetings as well?

Hi

I went to my first Slimming World meeting yesterday! Well done for starting online - no idea if you can go to meetings too TBH, sorry.

I feel the same about the quantities of food! But at the meeting yesterday, people there had lost anything from a few lbs to many stone so I guess it must workGrin The hardest thing I'll find is the lack of milk and bread...but I'm certainly not hungry yet.

Today I've had scrambled eggs (free) on toast (4 Syns) and a cup of tea. Just eaten a banana (Superfree).

How are you doing?

Hi , we have a slimming world thread further down the page come and join us!
I think the key to slimming world is actually the portion sizes which is why they say put 1/3 of superfree food on your plate ,and drinking lots of water.
It does work my weight loss has been slow and steady , i've lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks but i only wanted to loose 2 stone , my sister who has more to loose has been doing really well and has lost 3 stone in 13 weeks!!
For my healthy extras ive been having 250 ml semi milk and for my b choice bread , i've not felt deprived or hungry .
I go to classes so don't know about online .
