I am 5ft 6. I weigh 12 stone and 11 pounds.

I look shit. My clothes are all tight. I have no energy.

I am going on a beach holiday in August and don't want to traumatise everyone who sees me sunbathing. Hmm Grin

I feel a bit overwhelmed but things need to change. I am eating so much crap (chocolate, crisps, bread, big unhealthy meals, etc) and doing very little.

I don't know where to start but someone recommended myfiitnesspal to me so I have signed up and intend to use that as an online daily log.

Does anyone have any tips? Or want to join me for mutual support?

I went to my first Slimming World meeting yesterday. So far so good - I can't believe how much food I can eat and still lose weight!

I'm 5'5" and 11st 12lbs. I don't fit any of my clothes and even my bras are too smallBlush Can't afford a whole new wardrobe so losing weight it is Smile

Good luck!

Hi there, I started my new healthy lifestyle this week too. I'm much the same as you. All clothes too tight and eating all the wrong stuff and no exercise.

I did slimming world 2 years ago and did really well and lost a stone and was very happy with my shape but I piled it all back on plus a bit extra as soon as I stopped.

So this time I'm trying to get myself set on a healthy lifestyle rather than dieting. I'm also using My Fitness Pal to log my food and exercise and it's great. There's also a thread on here for it and everyone is very helpful.

I'm also trying the couch to 5k to get myself fitter.

It's only week one but so far so good.

Good luck!

Hi! I popped to asda to get some healthy food in, lots of nice fresh stuff - and I have gone through fridge and freezer and have gotten rid of anything unhealthy I had in.

I'm unsure whether to do a dieting club, I've done WW in the past and it just makes me obsessed with how much food I can get for my points Blush. What is slimming world like? What do you eat? I am going to cut down on carbs and try to eat more protein, and more fruit and veg. My thinking is I will be fuller and won't want so much junk food!

My bras are all too small too Blush.

I also need to think of exercise - nothing tempts me TBH!
