Anyone fancy a 'processed sugar & refined carbs' junk free May?

I've got a bit of weight to loose, and a 'mummy tummy' to tone up.
More importantly I want to start eating healthily, everyday.

So from next Tuesday Chez Horse (Dh & I) are cutting out processed sugars (aside from lactose & the fructose in honey/berries etc) & refined carbs.
This is a livestrong list of the food we're excluding.

We're starting in May so we have time to clear the house of all the junk Grin

I'll post both DH & my starting weights & measurements, and do a weekly update..I hope if someone (anyone!) joins they'll post too.

The more the merrier!!

I may join if I can get some understanding of what refined carbs are?

I'm on weightwatchers at the moment as I have a good stone to lose but it's not dropping off as easily as it did the last time I dieted.

Can I just confirm - wine is ok? Grin

Wine should be ok...I can't see how/where they would add sugar to the process.
How many cals of wine are you drinking & how often? It could be whats killing off your weight loss plan! Evil wine!!

Basically anything that has had its natural bran/wheatgerm stripped or sugar added. So all white carbs (bread/rice/pasta/cereals), all junk snacks, fizzy drinks, sweeteners.
