Any new mums (or anyone really) interested in posting a food diary for sensible weight loss?

So I had my first DC 10 weeks ago and am still carrying some (probably a lot of) baby weight. I don't know how much, am too scared too weigh myself as I think it would just result in comfort eating, but my guess is that I have between a stone and a stone and a half to lose. I'm bfing DD so don't want to go on any crazy diet that might impact on my milk supply.

My plan is to eat VERY sensibly, with as much fruit and veg as possible. Every night, I'll be posting my food diary for the day on here to keep me on track. I also want to start exercising again soon but need to see how I can manage that timewise. And maybe, just maybe I can manage to face the scale some time soon. (I am a little curious tbh.)

Is anyone interested to join me?

Hi I'll join you, my DD is 10 weeks on Thursday and I need to bite the bullet and start losing the baby weight! I weighed myself this morning and am 59kg, need to lose 4kg to get back to pre-baby weight. Doesn't sound like much I suppose but I've been here before with my first 2 babies and it didn't really go until I stopped breast feeding, at almost a year. BF really seems to increase my appetite and I gorge on chocolate, so my plan is going to involve staying away from the sweet stuff, eating healthily and lots of walking with the pram. Would love to lose the weight in time to fit into my summer stuff, my trousers are all really tight and I don't want to cave in and buy a bigger size! Good luck MrsH - I'll post back later tonight with my food diary ...

Hello Jeez,
great to see you're joining me. My pre-pregnancy weight is also 54-55kg but, like I said, I have no idea how much I weigh at the moment. Maybe I should go on the scales to have a better idea. I also don't want to give in and buy bigger clothes and want to be back to normal for the summer. The annoying thing is that I was mostly wearing dresses pre-baby which is just not doable now with breastfeeding.
So do you think the last times you were bfing the weight didn't come off until you stopped because you were more hungry and eating more or because bfing made your body store more fat?
I'm pleased with myself today. It's a first day in ages where I didn't have any chocolate, cake or ice-cream. I could have eaten more fruit and had more water though. Will go out tomorrow to buy some healthy snacks. So this is what I had today:

B - Quaker Oats Apple and Blueberry Porridge
L - big bowl of homemade Minestrone soup
S - banana, small Nakd bar
D - Brocolli, Mushroom and Noodle Hoi Sin Stir Fri (wholemeal noodles)

Drinks - 2 large cups Redbush Tea, cup Earl Grey with a a bit of milk and 1 sugar
Exercise - none, sat on my arse all day long!
