Hi there
I'm a relatively fit dude (BodyPump or Circuits once a week, Gym 4 times a week, Zumba class once a week) and was sitting bored the other day and Googled The 30 Day Shred DVD. It looks great, so good in fact that I've already gone out and bought myself some dumbbells....
So which is the best JM DVD do you think, for my level of fitness?
I noticed a huge thread on JM but didn't want to barge right in....
Thank you :)

start with the shred it is a hard DVD no matter how fit you are & it a good introduction to the World of Jillian Micheals. Plus it gets results.

If you are that fit 30 day shred might be easy. Depends on your core muscles.

But I'd still start with that and maybe work through each level quickly because it would be a shocker to start with ripped in 30 Smile.

Oh, do barge in on the mega thread. People doing all different JM vids and some serious expertise there. If you find it easy, you can do it with heavier weights.

Hey thanks for all your replies.
I think I should start with the 30 day shred first as I think I do need to do more work on my core strength, will pop in on the main thread once the DVD arrives :)
Thanks ladies x

Can i butt in and ask is the shread good for tummy muscles as i've never really got mine back after my 3 kids and c-sections?

foreverondiet · 05/04/2012 13:52

Shred is good for tummy but its just a warm up for ri30 which is excellent for tummy! As well as the dvds I do extra planks several times a day and now tummy v fat and toned (3dc but no cs).

Thanks i'm going to give it a go , so do you do shred then go onto the other?
I'm getting seriously depressed about my tummy and was considering a tummy tuck as it's the lower stomach that's the problem but will have a go with this .
