Hi All

My DS is 19 months and only nursing to sleep and first thing in the morning. I only want to lose 10lbs and am currently on Day 3 of the Attack phase of the diet (have lost 3 lbs already, it works!), was thinking of carrying on with this phase for another two days and then moving to Cruise. I haven't dieted at all since my son was born until now. Do you think this will be ok? I was planning on weaning him between now and 2 yrs anyway, but just wondered if anybody else has done/is doing the same and if they had any advice.

Cheers, and good luck to everybody else on a diet right now. (Seems like there's lots of us with summer and beachwear beckoning.....)

My experience with dukan was that I lost pretty much the same when I ate veg (not carby veg though) every day. If you are worried about your nutrition then eat protein and veg every day, but keep the carby veg like carrots even chopped tomatoes for a few times a week.

I like dukan but am not convinced that pure protein days are a good idea unless just one day a week - its not ketosis anyway because he allows dairy so hard to see that some spinach each day if going to ruin the diet!
