Shock have not been pigging out. had a couple of glasses of champagne on Saturday but that's it on the drink front. exercising as usual, have cut down on eating recently and no change there. yes, got a box of chocs for mothers day but have had 1-2 a day as a treat, not gorged the entire box in one go!!!
so how on earth could there be a half stone difference in me getting on the scales in the past few days?!
the scales are quite old and possibly need replaced - could that be it??

Period due? Ovulating? I gain some weight around then...otherwise...yes I'd say your scales are gone

am about to start iykwim, but would it really cause a difference of half a stone? have never noticed that much of a difference before, though Blush

I've read some women can gain up to four pounds at their period...I gain two-three....explains some of it maybe...

thanks for the reassurance cunning! and now the scales are telling me i've lost 2lbs since this morning.
they're knackered, aren't they?!
maybe they have actually been over-estimating these past weeks?

They sound knackered.

However, I gain 6lbs every month just before my period, by the time it's finished my weight's back to normal.
