hi not sure if this is the right place but...

had my ds 10 weeks ago and i now look so fat and disgusting! he is my 2nd ddc and i think id stupidly forgot the weight doesnt just come on in childbirth!

My clothes all look horrid on nothing pre pregnancy fits so im wearing maternity stuff still.

before i got pregnant id lost 2stone on weightwatchers and was 12st and a size 12/14 and looked and felt great. im now 14 1/2 stone! (see im not exagerating im really fat)

im mixed feeding my ds. i just keep snacking on biscuits and crap because its quick and easy but mostly i am GREEDY!

i cant afford weightwatchers again but maybe i should dig out the stuff and do it myself? anyone got any tips for me or can recommend any diets?

thanks

No advice our kid, just wanted to say you've put the song in my head. :o

Ha ha I need to step away from the buttery biscuit bases, maybe that's the key...

I would suggest:

a) eating 3 proper protein based meals
b) thinking about some healthy snacks eg nuts, peanut butter on ryvita, fruit
c) myfitnesspal and log everything you eat.
d) Also 30 day shred great as you can do at home he might even be happy to watch you.

But he is still little and don't worry about being fat for a bit...

Thanks forever, I love peanut butter! I might get zumba for the wii I'm just reluctant to spend money on useless stuff!

Hi buttery, myfitnesspal is free - I would really recommend it - also you could join us on the healthy weightloss thread as we are really very friendly and all about a helathier approach that is manageable with no daft extremes. best of luck x

Oh I remember this feeling well, it does nothing for your self esteem and not being able to get into your clothes is sole destroying.I had 4 stone to loose after my first , all my own fault because I had such an enormous appetite.Once I eventually stopped bleeding (which seemed like an eternity) I started aerobics classes, not eating any crap whatsoever and walking everywhere I possibly could.Slowly but surely I lost it.

With my second my appetite was normal, I carried very neatly and the little I had to loose flew off me.

But see how you feel, don't be too hard on yourself, after a sleepless night with a cranky baby we all need some comfort food to keep us sane !!!

Link to the relevant forum that Putyourhatonsweetie suggested. Good luck! :)

Dude, your baby is only ten weeks old. Reassess at 6 months and enjoy these early days.

ButteryBiscuitBase · 11/03/2012 03:23

Thank you everyone I'll join the thread and try the fitness app!
With my first I'd barely got dressed at this point but this time round I feel much more pressure. My partner is v supportive though. Think its because I'd lost weight before conceiving and didn't have much chance to enjoy the weightloss!
