I weighed myself this morning and wish I hadnt. It was so depressing. I now weight 12st 5lb and am only 5"2 (I have always had big boobs though, but am not kidding myself that this explains all the excess weight).

I would like to get down to 10st at a maximum as I know I look and feel my best between 9 and a half and ten stone, but I just find it completely overwhelming. I have a long commute and work full time, so 7.30 am until 7pm I am out of the house. I also have a very busy but desk based job, so opportunities for exercise are limited.

I have a 3 year old DD, so when I get home from work time is consumed with bathing her, spending a small amount of quality time and putting her to bed, once she's in bed there is house stuff to be done, and after that I just want to sleep in all honesty.

I just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation and how did you go about losing weight? My diet I dont feel is atrociously bad, I dont eat masses of takeaway food etc. I know the key is exercise, I just feel like there arent enough hours in the day. :(

I know how you feel Sad. I started the Idiot Proof Diet mid January and have lost a stoneGrin. It can be very boring but it's really worked for me and I've tried loads of different things which havent in the past.

You need to be organised which can be a pain and make sure you have the righ things in the house. Good luck Wink

I am doing weight watchers online. Am on mat leave with 5mo and a nearly 3 year old. Lost 18lb since Christmas. I don't do any formal exercise as not really able to leave the kids so all diet (and pushing the kids about in the buggy which must burn something). It's hard, don't get me wrong, but just had to be done which is what I tell myself when I want to eat lots of cake.
