Ok here is the summary;

Been loosely following slimming world since 1st week of jan and had lost 8lb (would of been 12lb but i put on 4lb on my mini moon but lost it straight away the following week).

Last week i actually dragged the books back out to follow precisly and logged all food since sunday in a food diary (following extra easy) and have been sticking to it like a t, only had 2 treats which were counted in my syns (2 ww cookies on tue and a cream egg on wed) so i weighed in this morning and i have GAINED 1.5lb, i could actually cry as i have been sooooo good and have been for a run twice in that time, so can someone please tell me where i am going wrong? dont think its portion size as im being consious to not go mad even tho its free food as trying to learn portion control.

Im willing to post my food diary if anyone is interested.

I definitely eat too much and really struggle with portion control. For lunch I have just had a bit of curried rice, lean ham and a big salad with pepper, tomatos, cucumber and lettuce. Followed by FF yoghurt and pineapple.

I am quite sure that if I was stricter with myself I would lose weight more quickly but on average I lose 1- 1.5lbs a week. Is that a reasonably healthy loss do you think?

A common mistake of following the EE plan is people tend to get a little compacent about the amount of SUPERFREE food you should be eating WITH the meal.

Superfree is stuff like cabbage, lettuce, strawberries and not peas, sweetcorn and broad beans.

Make sure you are definately having your 1/3 of Superfree AT THE SAME TIME as your meal. A bowl of strawbs an hour later does not count but a bowl of strawbs immediately after the main meal would count - as long is the amount was the equivalent to 1/3 of your meal.

Hope this helps. Smile

Just looking at your food diary I dont think you are having enough Superfree with your meals.

If you dont like superfree foods that much you would be better following the Original or Green days perhaps.

Thanks queen of cakes, your right proberbly not alot of super free but that was a combination of not having done the weeks shopping and making do with what was in!

Been sticking to 3 meals and no snacks and its not been to bad as been at work so too busy to snack.

Will aim for more superfree in meal tonight.

Breakfast Porridge and banana
Lunch soup and yog
Dinner not sure, possibly an omlette with veggies in.
