I tried to do slimming world a while back but gave up due to circunstances.
I want to start eating healthier and losing weight and I think slimming world or calorie counting are the best diets for me as I don't want to give up any food groups and want to be able to snack on fruit.
From what I remember from sw, I can take any recipe like this one www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1511713/fragrant-fish-tagine and use fry light instead of olive oil, omit the olives, serve it with plain couscous and it will be free?
Am I right?

I've been losing weight slowly but steadily since Christmas by cutting starches like rice, pasta, bread and potatoes down (but not out completely) and eating lots of meat fish and veg. Also find that drinking more water definitely helps and I have rough oat bran porridge for breakfast. I've lost half a stone in 8 weeks. I have finally found a diet that is completely manageable and I'm not hungry on it. Having always refused to have scales in the house I now weigh myself every day and if I see the weight creeping up I just drink more water and make sure I only have a very small amount of starch, but otherwise I'm eating decent meals. Good luck with the weight loss, keep going. I feel so much better as I'm back into nice clothes I haven't got into for ages.
