Ripped in 30 (6 weeks to a new me)

After completing the 30 Day Shred I'm now moving on to RI30 which I aim to complete in 6 weeks doing it 6 days a week (so really RI36). Unlike with shred, I won't be downing 1/2 bottle of wine and a family sized bar of chocolate every night (because have given up refined sugar for lent), so hopefully as well as getting fitter and feeling better I will also actually lose some weight and tone up.

So, L1D1 done this morning. The plan is 6 days on L1, 8 days on L2, 10 days on L3 and 12 days on L4 to finish by Easter Sunday (I have instructed DP to purchase a deluxe easter egg). It didn't feel too bad today, so I will up the weights (from 2kg to 3kg for as many exercises as possible) and try some of the advanced moves. Maybe.

madness! How do you find the motivation and energy? DS2 has killed me off already this morning and mentally not up to Shed today. I struggle to do it 3 times a week. Hopeless as still on level 1 - struggle with pressups and skipping.

You must be mega fit to do the whole DVD as its going to be more 30 months than 30 days!!!

It sounds trite but once you start exercising regularly you miss it if you don't do it. I do it first thing in the morning after DS' morning feed (he is 6m) and while he is in his bouncer/on the sofa with me playing with toys/in the kitchen whilst DP has breakfast. I did 30DS in 5 weeks and I think having a target really helps. That and some shiny stars I stick to the calendar for each day doneWink
