I want to join my local WeightWatchers which a couple of my mum friends go to, and when I mentioned it their immediate reaction was "
Why? You don't need to". They gave me the distinct impression that I was simply not big enough and there was no point me going. My sister did WW very successfully but was made to feel very unwelcome as she didn't look big to them (a tall sz16), and she warned me I might get the same reaction.
My son is nearly a year old and I can't seem to shift the weight, am currently a size 14 and nearly two stone over my previous weight, none of my clothes fit, my maternity stuff is now too big (I was a 16) and my pre-preg stuff is too small (was a 10/12).
Frankly I feel like I have just as much right to join WW as anyone else, but will I really get evils from everyone like my sis warns? I don't want to spend the money then feel I'm not welcome, I feel rubbish enough as it is. Please advise!
First post btw.
