Well, I don't have the mid cycle/bloated thing though can understand it must be bloody annoying.

When did you start and what is your ultimate goal? What are you eating in a day?

hello.

I came off the pill about 4 cycles ago, so having periods (it was the mini pill) is new to my system, as i previously had none at all for 1 months.

I lost 3lbs in the first week, and a subsequent 3 over two weeks. I lost weight during my period, well the loss showed up a few days after I'd finished.

The last week i have put on one pound. I can't remember having bloating the past few periods at mid cycle.

I am 11.st 7, and started at 11. 12, and am doing 1200 cals a day. I have to admit to finding hard to get all the food groups perfectly eaten per day.
For example i can end up with protiens left, but being a vegetarian have no idea what to eat, becuase i usually also haven't enough cals left!
I am quite sedentary (don't do exercise on a structured level)

I am vegetarian too and similar to you in weight. < by the way, we have spoken lots, you were very helpful to me on my other thread which had to be deleted and i am now back under a new ID Smile >

I am trying to low carb - this is really difficult as a vegetarian but it is having good results...do you think you could do it for a week to really give you a good 'push?'

piratecat · 18/02/2012 13:53

oh have i helped?, thats lovely to know! ( wonders which thread-do pm me)

i don't know much about low carbing. I can only remember hearing of people eating packs of bacon and umpteen eggs in the press!

I am od-ing on quorn slices!

what plan are you following.

My own plan! It is probably not low carb as a proper low carber would do it but is is for me.. I have a love of those bloody packs of quorn fillets too! It costs almost as much as a 20 a day habit each week.

I eat only 3 times a day and no snacks in between and no bread. This seems to work as opposed to grazing all day long

piratecat · 18/02/2012 14:04

i like quorn slices, the turkey and stuffing ones, but as you say quorn is expensive. my friend lost weight with Slimming world where they really encourage meat substitutes for meat eaters. Having the myfitness plan to guide me has made me realise my diet has been severely lacking in proteins for yrs.
