As title says have done SW and WW...had good results but again need to lose 2.5 stone. Cant afford lighter life and it sounds grim! What else works? So miserable being overweight...just not miserable enough to stop stuffing my face!

Mind another nice herbal tea is 2 bags ;1 of green t and 1 of mint t. they also do some nice mixes of green and lemon grass and or gingeretc. I don't use sweetener or sugar! It takes a bit of getting used to but it's good 'cos it cuts down on cravings and empty cals. Grin.
may at the risk of being boring check out paul mc. we all have our appetites under control 'cos he deals with the emotional and physical sides of overeating.

So if you eat low carb diet, what do you eat?

I eat-
Meat, fish, eggs, poultry, seafood... with plenty of non-starchy, preferably green/leafy veg. Some fruit (mostly berries). Lots of Cauli and mushrooms FRIED! IN BUTTER!! Double cream in coffee.

No gluten or grains.

Chocolate EVERY DAY! 2 squares, 80% coco.
Nuts - a handful or so most days, and some seeds.

Coconut, coconut oil and olive oil.

I also use MyFitnessPal with a low carb, low GI approach. I used to have so many problems sticking to WW because I always got bad food cravings and hungry all the time but I started using this supplement called FULLfast which helped me sooo much. It's an appetite control spray and after using it for a couple of days you just don't get those horrible cravings that make you want to eat the entire pack of biscuits anymore. Low GI diet also really helps with that too.

A month ago I had hypnoband hypnotherapy, basically you think you've had a gastric band fitted. I've lost a stone in a month and it's sorted out my eating issues. My weight has gone up and down constantly over the years and for the past year and a half I've really been stuck and even ww no longer worked well for me.

It's still early days for me but so far, so good.
