Need to lose 8lb to get to target and get a flatter tummy - which eating plan?

Any ideas what eating plan is best for a small weight loss? I have 8lb to get to my pre DC weight, plus I still look about 5 months pregnant (someone asked me if I was PG the other day!).

Any foods that I should avoid to help me get a flatter tummy?

I'm going to start Shredding too, plus I walk a lot (over 4 miles a day) and I do Zumba once a week too.

Thanks!

South beach ie low GI moderate carb plus you can calorie count as well if need be (myfitnesspal?!)

Avoid refined sugar / white carbs.

Shred, and do the abs exercises an extra time each day too.

Thank you. I was thinking of low GI actually, as it is a healthy eating plan rather than a fad diet. I'd have to limit my portion sizes though, if I am to lose the weight I guess.

OK, no refined sugar and white carbs. We normally don't have white carbs at home, so shouldn't be that different.

Anyone has any ideas on low GI desserts?

Recommend embracing south beach diet, one of the many books I have worth buying, there are recipe ideas there too.

Greek yoghurt with berries?
Apple crumble with oat topping? (small serving though)
