Hi

I noticed there was another thread about this but it seemed to be mainly friends chatting when i looked at it so didn't want to but in.

I have just started this diet 4 days ago and i am feeling really really ill. I am actually craving food really badly and i think i would actually eat anything at all right now! I am staying strong and i'm not going to slip up.

I am wondering if anyone else is doing it?

I am 18stone 4lb and have 7 stone to lose to get to a healthy weight and from what i have read/saw i am hoping to lose it all within the next few months.

Any advice?

My consultant is brilliant and really similar to me which helps a lot.

I am getting support from friends and family members but i have had a lot of negative things said to me about it. People are saying i'm getting ripped off because it's expensive and people are saying that it will never work and i am an idiot for even trying it but i really want to continue doing it.

Hard the first two days then really easy once ketosis had kicked in. Flush of face and full of energy. Yesteray was a stressful day and i soo wanted to eat but resisted. For that i am so glad of, today.

blackout23 · 02/02/2012 21:41

I am on day 4 now and i am still struggling a bit. not as bad as i was the first couple of days but i am gonna do a ketosis test tomorrow and hopefully i will be at that stage. i haven't eaten yet but it's hard to resist. I have came on here to chat instead of watching telly - i find my cravings are bad when i'm watching TV

I'm glad you are getting lots of support from friends/family. The best come back to thise whi are critical of your choice is to state that the iet is 25 years old. You could also state your Doctor aproved it, whether he has or has not. You coul indee lose a lot of weight in a few months.

On Youtube there are a series of videos created by a Cambridge Counsellor, DuoDynamics. The counsellor is on sole source for 12 weks, weighs less than you at the start and loses 4 stones, i'll post a link x

GoingForGoalWeight · 02/02/2012 21:47

very good if you need motivating, check out their other videos.

i haven't watched yet, but i shall :)

GoingForGoalWeight · 02/02/2012 21:48

now you can just click :)

blackout23 · 02/02/2012 22:06

thanks for the link - there are loads of vids on youtube i never even thought of doing that.

I might actually keep a video diary myself so i can see the results over the next few weeks

Overtiredmum · 02/02/2012 22:15

I'm on the other thread too! Come join us, then we can all be together!

We do all waffle from time to time, but waffling is good - best to voice your concerns/worries/thoughts than to dwell on then.

Come on, come and say hi!!
