Is there such a thing as an entirely guilt-free, damage-free food. Something I can reach for without derailing my GI/low carb way of life. Something which I can eat without restriction .......(why, oh way, aren't gin and tonic and chocolate eclairs health food :) )

Lean protein, like chicken breast, egg whites, white non oily fish, tofu, quorn chunks.

GoingForGoalWeight · 01/02/2012 21:46

Cottage cheese, chicken tikka, any meat off the bone with no added ingredients, cheese? bacon.

Search on net for protein foods.

Since when did bacon become this superfood? I see it so much on these boards!

Wasn't it just last week the papers said 2 slices a day dramatically increases your cancer risk?

I love bacon btw, but just sayin'. I think diets should be representative of how you plan to live the rest of your life, not just a way of white knuckling it until weigh day. Not knocking you, GFGW, it's just I see bacon mentioned so many times here.

GoingForGoalWeight · 01/02/2012 23:29

I left out a question mark after bacon lol

I know it is a free food on SW red day, not sure ifit is purely a protein food.

Paul McKenna I can make you thin! You'll eat what you want but you'll just find yourself going to healthy stuff. Trust me, it works. Come on over to our thread to find out!

Prawns and ham are really low cal/carb.
