Am trying to stick to 1500 a day. Made spag Bol last night for family but am lost as to how to work out cals in things like this.

Used onion, garlic, carrot, celery, mushrooms, beef mince (drained fat) cansof toms, beef stock cube, glass of red wine Blush, dried herbs ..... Did use olive oil to soften veg in beginning.

Had with wholemel pasta, and a scraping of grated Parmesan.

So we all ate it, loads left over .... How do you work out what you ate? Didn't have a huge portion (tho finished first by a mile Blush ) am hoping it was fairly healthy.

Using food focus, am finding breakfast / lunch etc easy to work out but not family meals .....

The only way is to work out the calories for the whole thing and estimate what proportion of it you ate. You can weigh the pasta element and be sure about that.

Ok will try and work it out overall I thought that might be the only way. Can you weigh cooked pasta?
