i was prescribed orlistat on friday by my GP.

I really want these to work. Have breakfasts sorted, but have a few questions about other meals. can i have low fat mayo on sandwiches? or is the fat contant still to high? are most low fat foods ok?

Is there a general rule of thumb that worked for anyone ie 5g fat per 100g of food.

Dr was very vauge and told me to look it up on internet but most info seems vauge too. I was so shocked when Dr gave them to me I had no questions to ask now i a almost frightened to eat.

I need a plan in my head for tomorrow as i am back to work and dont want any accidents Blush

All advise welcome. Ihave 4-5 stone to loose.

Dont eat pizza!!!! I made that mistake once......

I tend to go for the low fat options of products if there is one, ie skimmed milk/extra light philly/mayo/salad cream etc. I also avoid roast potatoes. Apart from that i dont avoid amything else, just eat a healthy diet. I am following weight watchers as well as taking the tablets. Have lost 6 stone 0.5lb since may 2011.

Grin i am quite proud buts its been a hard slog. I've denied myself cakeeverything i love and have to be very strict. I do have some support in my efforts but some people try and encourage me to fall off the wagon. If you put in the effort then you can do it too.
