i have had 2 cs and I have this horrible overhang which I can't seem to get rid of. it drapes... i am a size 10/12 and walk as much as i can, have started to run for 20 mins at the gym 3 x a week (no more time, toddlers)
i have given up carbs, but still a bit a glass of white wine spritzer in the evening.
how do i get it to go? will sit ups help?

any advice welcome, please, my dh also said "whats that???" pointing at it, so now i get undressed / dressed in the dark. he was mortified but it really hurt.

It took ages with dd but lots of core work, cardio and resistance and it finally went. I had a 2nd emcs in Sept and it's worse this time. I'm back to a size 10 and running 4x a week and doing the Shred and Davina, weight is back to normal and waist an inch smaller even but the overhang remains. I don't know if it will ever go tbh.

thanks, might try shredding, it seems very popular. i have to get rid of it...when you say core work do you mean sit ups?

I'm not sure if you can get rid of it tbh. It's caused by the mismatch between the loose skin from the pregnancy and the tight skin from the stitches. I've had 3 c-sections and although I now have weight to lose, after dc1 I was fitter and thinner than I've ever been, but the overhang was still there.

I guess that's why people have tummy tucks. I used to moan about my stomach and eventually DH said "Look, if it bothers you that much then go and have a tummy tuck." I thought about it and realised it didn't bother me that much really. I see it as my battle scars from getting my lovely dcs!

thanks crapistan, i don't mind it really, either, just i have put a bit of weight on and it looks horrible. i lost load of weight after dc2 and it wasn't really there, but i seem to have put it all on again. am trying to exercise more:)

Mine seems to be more obvious when I'm slimmer. When I'm overweight it kind of blends in to the other rolls. I've resigned myself to the fact that it's there to stay.

I only need one more CS and I'd have the mark of zorro as one of them is V wonky.Sad
