Anyone on Lighter Life, or their 2nd week of weightloss?

I started as a last resort on Lighter Life Lite last week weighing 11st 4lbs. I now weigh 10st 12lbs!! In a week!!

Is anyone else doing this diet? Has anyone started on a weight loss plan recently? I wonder if anyone has managed to keep the weight off permanently?

Here's to hoping Grin

Hi Mummy

Well done on your weightloss! That's amazing - how much do you want to lose?

I'm on day 2 of LL - I'm doing total abstinence though. I am hoping to lose 2 1/2 stones by the end of March. I've done the plan before years ago, once you get into it it's fab. I just need to keep focussed and keep "taking the medicine"!

Hi abc, I don't envy you doing total I think I would go mad! Congratulations on getting back into it I imagine that's write a hard step to take.

I'm hoping to loose 2 1/2 stones total so shoul hopefully be on track for April time.

My end goal is to wear a bikini (not with one in 7 years) on out family holiday in July.

Have you got a specific goal in mind?

X

Are you still around? I have been for a consultation Saturday, and waiting for a GP's appointment now before I can start.

Hi all,

Not on LL but on Slim and Save, also a VLCD but you order online with no consultants/counsellors. I'm on week 3 and have lost a stone!

Panadbois · 07/02/2012 19:24

Wow! Have arranged to meet a Cambridge Diet consultant tomorrow, so I'll probably start that tomorrow. I have joined another thread on CD too. Will be looking to change when I'm on the right path, so I take it you would recommend Slim nd Save?

ScarfOfSexualPreference · 07/02/2012 20:18

Slim and Save is working really well for me. It's a ketosis diet like LL, CD etc but different in the contents. There are 10 shakes, 3 meals (cottage pie, chili, spag bol), 3 soups, 4 bars, and oatmeal porridge. I'm doing 4 packs a day, the only stipulation is a max of one bar per day. Plus you have to drink 3l of water/tea/coffee etc and you can have 200g from a list of veg. The other option is 3 a day with the option of also having 100g grilled fish or chicken, though plenty of people don't.

Well, my loss so far is great but then I am starting from a high weight, 14st at start with a goal of 9st as I'm short! It's cheaper than LL, CD, Lipotrim etc but comparable with Exante BUT they don't have the meals!

I'd also recommend for the customer service, Rob runs the company and is always on hand to answer questions. It's so rare to find really good customer service so I have to say it! I'd recommend popping onto the S&S forum on minimins, very friendly community!

Not far off my stats Scarf, I'm starting from 13 and would ideally like to be 91/2, shortie too at five one!

My 'local' consultant for CD is 45 minutes away so don't know how long I can keep it up.

Thanks for the tips Smile
