Slimming world 'free' foods

I joined Slimming World about a year ago, lost a bit of weight and haven't been for ages due to not having anyone to look after my little one while I'm there.

Feel confident that I can do it by myself without attending meetings, but can't seem to find all the diet plans and info.

So am I being unreasonable to ask you all to remind me what the 'free' foods are? As I'm getting bored of eating the same old things and feel like I need a bit of variety

If I remember correctly, most fruit and veg are free except for peas and sweetcorn? Pasta, potatoes are free?
But wanted to know more specific items eg, branston pickle, gherkins, beetroot etc, (stuff to liven up my meals which I wouldn't normally think to add!)

Take your little one with you to the meetings. There are quite a few babies and toddlers at our group. The leader is great with them even has a pile of toys and books for them to play with. I personally couldn't do SW without going to get weighed every week and the support & ideas that others give as I've got absolutely zero willpower! The SW website and app are both useful too.

Agree, definitely need to go to group to keep motivated! Lost 2 1/2 stone so far, 7lbs to go!

You can't beat doing it with a group. I did it a couple of years ago, lost 2 stone and got to target. Worst thing I did was stop going to class once I got there. I rejoined last week and am 9lb heavier than I was when I first joined :-O I will definately be staying to class when I get to target again!

Sauces, mayonaises, anything not free on red or green days are high sin values. You need to go to the meetings really.

KalSkirata · 21/01/2012 12:18

on green days all fruit, veg, potatoes, pasta, rice, pulses and Qourn products are free. And fat free yogurt.

Peas and sweetcorn are free, just not superfree.

Free is all lean meat, fish (except smoked mackerel), eggs, fat-free dairy (not milk), potatoes, pasta, quorn, rice

Superfree is most vegetables and fruit (if they aren't superfree, they're free).

Should have 1/3 of every meal as superfree foods.

Healthy extras on the extra easy plan - one of each
a) eg small portion cereal (35g)
b) eg 375ml skim milk

(I have a small amount of porridge oats, made with water and a splash of milk)
