Will losing weight also mean my breasts will get smaller?

This may sound like a ridiculous question but I'm not sure of the answer as I have had mixed answers to this when I've asked family or friends.

I've gone from 34B pre-pregnancy to 36DD. My DS is 10 months and I often get asked if I'm still breastfeeding (I'm not). I would like to get back to 34 in back size, preferably back to a B cup but apparently, now I've had a child, they're here to stay.

Opinions greatly appreciated! :)

In my experience you go back to the same size you were before, if you are the same weight.

I have friends who are smaller than they were, but none that are bigger, unless they are heavier.

I bloody hope they do! I'm getting sick of lugging these boulders around, and I was big to start with.

I think it depend's on the boobs.
I have small one's 36A went up to 36B when I was pg. Then they I was majorly dissapointed :( went back to pre preg size.
They are still nice and pert though!

Iv'e know people to lose weight and lose their boobs as well. And Iv'e known people where they've got bigger and stayed like that!

well, i was generally a 34 a-b before being pregnant. as soon as i got pregnnt my boobs would grow and would stay that way until I stopped BF and lost the preg weight. having had my 2nd 8 months ago and being at a weight that I am happy with (i.e. less than before I was preg) I can sadly confirm that my bobs seem like they will not recover unless i get pregnant again. I feel that I have chosen a slim all over figure/face at the expense of a fleshy arse/tits.
sounds like you are extremely lucky to have kept your fantastic boobs. how is your weight generally compared to pre-preg?
Ps - are you quite young (pre-30)? not that I am jealous or anyything!

Sorry! Not much help. Grin
I have to say that i don't fancy lugging around a pair of DD's!

Oh good! My mum has large breasts so it was a running joke that I didn't take after my mum for that but since having my DS people have said maybe I'm more like her than previously realised. I've never had big boobs before and I am a bit fed up of them. Think I gave the home delivery guy a bit of an eyeful the other day picking all my bags from the trays, oops Blush

I certainly would appreciate it if they did go back to normal, I always stare longingly at my small bra's in my drawer hoping to fit them again one day! Is it an area that will go first or last with weight loss?

I'm 25. Surprisingly, they aren't saggy which was my main concern when they grew magnificently in pregnancy! I can go out without a bra on and it's not noticeable. They are actually a bit smaller than when I was preg but I did put on 3 stone :( Still got just under 2 stone of it left to lose. Maybe half a stone is sat on my chest :o

My breasts shrunk right back when I lost the baby weight. I had 3.5 stone to loose.

Was 36D now back to 32B.

Danceswithdragons · 20/01/2012 19:52

I have recently lost just short of 4 stone and I have gone from a 40DD to a 32DD, so I kept the cup size and only lost from the back measurement.
Pre-pregnancy I was 36C, but I know weigh a stone less than when I became pregnant.
