Personally for me it's WW - I lost 5.5 stone so something works.... However I know that SW works equally as well for others!

I actually think the plans are so similar these days (any successful weight loss is essentially more broccolli and less chocolate) it's more about the individual leaders at the meetings, which is most convenient, group that you get along with etc. rather than the actual programmes.

Good luck whichever you choose Smile

Agree with ImpatientOne, its definitely down to the leaders & meetings. I tried WW lost a bit but couldn't stand the leader she was patronising and I just felt she was after the money and couldn't give a monkeys about anyone personally.

Totally different with SW, leader is fantastic, motivating meetings are fun and lively, she texts, emails or calls to keep you motivated. I've lost a stone with SW in 9 weeks, haven't felt hungry, still drinking wine and lost 3lbs over xmas & NY. Its opened my eyes to how much crap I was eating and how rubbish I was feeling.

From my personal experience, SW encouraged me to continue stuffing myself silly with unlimited 'free' foods. WW has encouraged me to think about portion control. I never lost more than 2 stone on SW before giving up and falling off the wagon. With WW i've lost 6st and still losing.
