Flabby tummy - advice needed please!

I have a flabby tummy and I need to deal with it. However, while it does seem to be fat, rather than just not toned, I am not generally over weight so I am not sure what approach to take.
Should I just do exercises that target that area or should I got for diet and exercise and hope it all comes off the right place?!

I haven't been fit for a couple of years now so I feel like I no idea where to start. I have cut sugar out, mostly to see if it helps my skin, but I'm hoping it will have an effect on my waistline as well.....

Please can anyone advise me?

TIA

I have one too. When I watch what I consume,it reduces, when increase excercise, same thing- both is the trick and not going back to bad habits (if you have any)

A brilliant Muffin top busting exercise for you -

  1. Lie flat on firm surface i do it on my firm mattress 3 times in A.M. and P.M.
  1. Keeping YOUR HEAD IN LINE WITH YR. SPINE raise your head and shoulders and hold them there for 5 seconds or so.

3.If you want to increase the difficulty put yr arms above yr head (still flat).

This exercise seems simple and it is, what it does is activate the fat burning facility of yr body I've gone from a muffin topped size nr 16 to a slim waisted size 10 M&S using this and the one below.

Another exercise is to pull yr tummy muscles in counting up to 20 while yr sitting down or wherever.

Cut out carbs esp refined (wheat and sugar)....

Thanks guys.

I've cut out sugar already - carbs may be a whole new challenge!

I'll try your exercises too ppeat - hopefully that'll do the trick. Good to know it's worked for you :)
