Looking to get rid of some post Christmas weight gain (from circa Christmas 2005 - 2011
)
Thought I would start with some cycling and walking but also want to addess the diet and looking to follow either low carb or carb free diet for next few months to get the weight loss kick started.
I tend to cook most meals from scratch so not keen to buy too much processed stuff (god that sounds smug
) and also have to avoid artificial sweetners.
Am I on a hiding to nothing
?
I need the basics - I have to avoid all bread, rice, pasta and potatoes right?
Anything else?
Is it possible to buy low carb pasta and lasagne sheets (we eat at least one pasta meal as a family each week and I need to try and eat with the family if possible)
Porridge for breakfast?
