Has anyone tried the Powerspin arm and ab workout device? I think it potentially looks quite good but it's £19.99 and I can't find any reviews so am reluctant to spend that much if it's no good...anyone tried it?

I think it will probably do what it promises if you use it (tone arms and abs) but you'd do just as well with a few sets of push ups, tricep dips and planks every day, for free. Also, if you are overweight, in order for your arms to look toned you will need to lose any fat lying over the toned muscles of abs and arms and i suspect the powerspin won't be much help with that aspect.

Gimmick IMHO.

I thought it looked a bit gimmicky too but thought it might be simple enough to make me do it everyday...I'm not overweight but need to tone up (and make my belly less wobbly!) and thought this looked like an option. I know you're probably right though - think I'll dig out one of my many dvds and get a cardio workout at the same time.

Thanks
