Hi there. Am doing weightwatchers but am starving all the time an am told I need to eat more protein and less carbs. I do love my carbs but am desperate to shift this weight. I don't know where to start though- could anyone possibly give me a few pointers for simple easy to prepare meals (am alone with baby so not much time to cook) and snacks as am not really used to eating high protein. Thanks x

I eat normal dinners and either miss out the carb bit or have for example only 1 or 2 roast potatoes.
Snacks are quite easy. I have packets of ham, tiny cubes of cheese or the very small tins of weight watchers tuna or a may defrost some prawns.
You will find if you cut down on carbs you will crave them less.
A good lunch if you are at home during the day is an omelette and salad.
Good luck.

Smoked salmon, boiled egg and a hot sugar free robinsons helps me. Drunk plenty of fluids. A few mixed nuts - not roasted or salted!

Thans guys. Am def addicted to carbs and think this why I'm always so hungry.

Chicken breast wraped in parma ham/bacon (cut the fat off)

Good quality (and therefore lower fat) sausages with rocket, roasted red peppers and mushrooms

Anything like chilli/curry/soup but without the rice/naan/bread

Boiled eggs are great snacks

Tuna and egg or feta salads for lunch

Chicken kebabs are good too - marinade in a little fat-free yoghurt with curry paste, or lemon and chilli and have with salad.

tbh - any lean meat with any veg.

White fish or chicken breast topped with some doritos type salsa is lovely with loads of veg.
