Diet Chef/Living Social offer

I got an email today offering reductions off either a week's or a month's Diet Chef hamper. This makes it £29 for the week or £160 for a month. Has anyone used this diet & what sort of result did you get? I can't decide, it really appeals to me that I wouldn't have any thinking or planning or calorie counting etc to do, but paying for a month up front is a big outlay especially as I need it for 2 months (my 40th party at beginning of March, would love to lose about 10 lbs but this could be unlikely as I'm not actually overweight to start with). Also a bit wary of a 1200 cal a day diet as I do a lot of exercise. Any feedback gratefully received!

Osmiornica, just because a few pounds have crept on recently & I want to get them off as I just think I look better that way. I think at my age unless I trim back every now & then it'll be a slippery slope - a few pounds here, a few pounds there & before I know it a LOT of pounds to lose! And also - because the dress I have bought for my 40th is quite clingy :)
