I just can't face wearing running tights...
I'm on week 6 of the podcasts and I'm still a very wobbly size 18

(I was hoping by week 6 I would be more toned and slimmer....)

So, what do you wear? Normal trackie bottoms?
Can anyone recommend some nice running trousers?

Or should I just go for it and order some running tights? very, very scared!

Yes!!
I've got a few pairs. Some quite thick but 'wicking' others just thin shin material ones. Best ones I've got are Nike ones. They're full length and feel quite thick but don't hold onto any moisture. Im a size 14/16 and was a bit apprehensive about the whole running tights thing. But actually, if anything they hold everything in place and make me look slimmer! Normal trackers would give chafing too I think for me....!

Shiny not shin!

Hi bellatrix, when I started I just wore tracky bottoms but progressed to proper running tights after a while. Mainly because I got hooked on running and wanted to run in all weather, and it's not pleasant wearing voluminous cotton trousers when it's peeing it down!

Is there an Aldi near you? Several times a year they do a running gear special and the stuff is amazing value for money. For this reason, however, it absolutely flies off the shelves, so you have to go on the first day of the event to make sure you get your size. I don't know when the next one is, however... If you can't wait, I can recommend Ron Hill running tights, but I'm sure they're all equally good, really.

right, I'll give them a go then!
I'm sure they'll be much more comfortable than baggy tracky bottoms

I just keep bumping into kids & parents from my school (I'm a teacher) & want to hide!!

I like the sound of the slimming effects though!

I've got an aldi up the road & I love it so I'll check out the running gear next time I go

Thanks for the suggestions
