So... I'm thinking beyond the Christmas season and I still have 9lb to go before I'm back to pre-pregnancy weight.... what are your best low cal snacks to keep you going through the chocolate cravings? So far my best one is Activia low cal yogurt - delicious and creamy tasting and only 70 calories each.

I have a few slices of wafer thin Ham and a large glass of water. I think that is around 40 calories.

Apples/satsumas/fruit and a large glass of water. Probably around 50 calories but very healthy and good for you.

rice cake and cottage cheese, rice cake and marmite. Oatcakes. Satsumas! And water!

natural yoghurt also a winner

Quavers/wotsits/French fries - all 99 kcals a bag (the same as 'diet' crisps) but taste far nicer. Smile

I didn't touch crisps when trying to lose weight.

I did. And now I'm skinny. Grin

snack a jacks, sugar free jelly, skips, wotsits, quavers, low fat cottage cheese, ice lollies (ones like fab that are mostly water, check the labels). downside is the sugary stuff will leave you with a sugar crash that makes you feel hungry quickly, and the sugar free jelly does not fill you at all. I find the skips etc and cottage cheese are best. Actually, skips dipped in cottage cheese with chives makes a brilliant, really filling snack. leaves you with a salty oniony after taste which makes you feel like you've really eaten something!
