How are we going to keep the weight off over Christmas?

I am hoping to have some treats but I have stocked up on savoury stuff such as gammon, pickes, olives etc rather than mince pies etc.
I have been doing the shred but less than normal as the short days make me so sleepy. I am going to keep healthy until Christmas eve then have 3 days of scoffing then back to normal. Then there is the temptation of booze. Sigh.

What about you lot. Care to share your festive wieght loss ideas? Food ideas most welcome!

I am just planning on eating normally, with a few little extra treats [ a few after 8's, a bit of stilton and a pack of mini cheddars will probably do me]. I have never really gone mad foodwise over Christmas and new year, even in my fattest days so I'm not really anticipating a problem. I don't drink either, so no temptation there. The only problem is that I won't have as much opportunity for exercise, so I will dig out my wii fitness coach ,which I have never done. It will be fun to try something different.

I do love christmas food fatlazymummy. I might get a yoga dvd to complement the shred etc.

I plan to have a kind of detox lots of hot drinks day on 27th December as going on holiday on the 28th. I have brought an absolutely tiny sequinned number for new years eve and am hoping the thought if wearing it will be enough to put me of eating too much.
