What do you prefer and why?

I desperately want to lose some weight but have no willpower or motivation so I'm looking at what I can do to help me.

While i understand it's a personal preference I just need a push kick up the arse in the right direction

I've done both and unfortunately, you will need willpower for both too!

I preferred slimming world because I couldn't be bothered to count points. It seems like such a faff and being a busy mum of 2 kids and working part time, I just didn't want to sit there trying to figure out points.

With slimming world, it's essentially a low fat diet with some food combining.
All carbs, lean protein, veg and fruit are free. You get an allowance for bread or cereal and dairy and a small treat.

SW works better if you eat mostly at home and prepare your own lunches.
WW is a bit more flexible if you eat out and buy lunches.

Slimming World for me too.

I loved it, lost 2.5 stone in 13 weeks this year but stuck to it religiously. Am currently 37 weeks pg but will be going back on it next year to lose my post pregnancy lard arse. The reason I liked it was you can eat loads, fresh fruit, veg, yoghurts, lean meat, eggs, rice, potatoes, noodles etc. without having to count anything. I never felt hungry. I did give up all alcohol as I would rather spend my syns on food IYSWIM.

Agree with Candid- I think SW probably works better if you prepare you own meals, WW has a lot of convenience food and that didn't appeal to me at all.
