Had my first weigh in after a week on plan and I've lost

12lbs.

I'm chuffed to bits.

Wow! Good for you - that's an amazing loss. What plan are you on?

I am weighing and starting tomorrow. Am going to try Slimming World for the first time - have tried everything else!

I'm doing Paul McKenna, i'm doing this for a month and if not 100% happy on it, going to change to ww points.

Basically, its a case of reading the book. He mainly says that dieting is nothing to do with going without etc, if you are more positive in everyday life etc, you don't need to be strict on your food as you won;t want to comfort eat as much, and follow these four basic rules:

Eat when you are hungry

Eat what you want not what you think you should

Savour each mouthful, don't rush your food, enjoy it

Stop when you think you are full

Well I've bought the book but not read it, bought the CD and listened only once - may explain why it didn't work for me!!!
