I bough the Clean and Lean book about four months ago and took my time to read it and digest what he was saying, and its all quite straightforward, no gimics.
I didnt buy the shakes or the supplememts, just followed the diet and adhered to the 'bad, better, best' swaps and upped my exercise and lost a stone in about four weeks - and have kept it off.
Will be giving it another go after christmas to loose another stone/stone and a half
