It is the 30 day shred gillian michaels DVD. I haven't done it but it comes highly recommended by many mn'ers. Sounds like a good mix of weights and cardio, approx 20 minute session, intended to be done 6 days a week I understand, and building in difficulty/intensity every 10 days. If you are very fit already though I'm not sure how "hardcore" you would actually find it...I'm sure someone who has used it and is now super fit and slim will be along to advise on that soon though!

thanks! Probably not for me then as I am completely useless at doing ANY excersize at home, but I do go to the gym 5 or 6 times a week... just get fed up with the same old cardio and looking for something a bit different but still effective. :)

Well.... I am new the shredding and I run a hell of a lot, done 3 Half Marathon's since mid September and am very slim. The shred is fucking ace! I'm aching all over and I've done circuit training with some unbelievable ex military instructors so know what working hard is. It's not really hard, it just works well as its high intensity for short spurts with no rest so the 20 mins is used efficiently. Try it, it's only a fiver on amazon.

the Shred is amazing - get it you won't regret it - PROMISE!

KatieO I was in a similar position to you earlier this year and have recently started kickboxing. It is fantastic, definitely given me a real boost fitness wise. I go twice a week and still go to gym/run/swim on most other days but getting better has given me a goal, the weights and cardio i do are to improve my kickboxing now IYSWIM? Also, it is definitely a hardcore workout and masses of fun. Anything like that near you that you could try?

Only boxersize... which is a bit rubbish tbh! Quite fancy kick boxing though. Maybe I will give this shredding malarkey a go... have to get some SERIOUS motivation to do anything outside the gym though! Grin
