I'm in my last month of pregnancy, after having babies back to back i am currently 28kgs over where i want to be. Going by previous births, 10 should come off within 4 weeks of baby which leaves me with 18kgs! 18 kgs is almost 3 stone!!! Argh. I'm now having anxiety dreams of loose skin. Now my stomach i can get done, after 3 c-sections i'm not worried about that, but will i have it on my arms and legs too? I'm getting really distressed.

I lost 3 stone a couple of years ago and don't have loose skin! I think the trick is to lose it slowly and exercise a lot whilst losing weight, particularly doing resistance work, to tone up what is underneath the skin. Whilst losing the weight my tummy did go a bit crinkly, but it firmed up with time and exercise.

I have lost 3 stone 9 pounds fairly quickly and my stomach is definitely a bit suspect but arms and legs and bum look amazingly normal considering how big they were. 13 and half stone and super tight , in denial size 16 down to a proper 12. Don't get distressed I am probably older than you and everything shrunk back without any exercise. Good luck.

Forgot to say I use Nivea firming lotion on my thighs. I think that helped . Normally I think creams can be a bit of a rip of but it was on offer so I thought I would give it a go. Now I am a bit of a convert and always pick up some if I see it for half price.

Thanks ladies, you have given me hope. My stomach was always my weak spot and i'll have that sorted by a tuck in the long term. I was always against it but now it's something to aim for as i have a real overhang from c-sections combined with the weight issue. Funny how life is. I also live somewhere hot so am in a swimsuit 4 times a week.

I lost almost 4 stone, from 12 5 (6 months postpartum) to around 8 8 and no loose skin anywhere.. a few wrinkles on tummy maybe but even that is flat with definition. Have done lots of exercise including weights and am all nice and toned :)
