Weigh in tonight - nervous and embarrassed :(

I know this sounds a bit pathetic but I am due to be weighed in my Rosemary Conley class and I am dreading it. The 1st week I lost 6.5lbs and everyone was very impressed but after that I missed a week and when I went back had put on 1lb (my birthday and I had 3 nights out with the subsequent hungover carb fest Blush). Then I missed another week as DH was away on business and I have put 4lbs on :( So after 5 weeks I have lost 6.5lbs and gained back 5.

I emailed the leader to say I had messed up and was embarrassed to the point of not wanting to come back but didn't want to give up. She wrote back to say don't worry come back and we will sort you out.

I don't know what is wrong with me. I do so well on week 1 then fall off the wagon every time. 4 years ago I lost 4.5 stone doing a similar diet but put it all back on in the last 3 years.

WHY CAN'T I STICK TO IT??!!

I am happy with myself and enjoy life but I just can't seem to control my eating. I have tried:-

WW
SW
Atkins
Dukan
Paul McKenna
Marisa Peer

Many of these I have tried several times. When I lost weight before I was calorie counting and exercising (I am trying to get back into the exercise and I do have time to do it I just keep putting it off).

Grrr!!

Hi Angry, I started RC last night too - don't know if there's already a support thread but I'm happy to join you in one Smile.

Can you give yourself small non-food treats each day/week you stick to plan. I have a huge amount of weight to lose so know I will need to break it down into a stone at a time or I will never cope Sad.

Yes will be glad to buddy up with you. I don't think there is a thread for RC at the moment. How much do you have to lose? I have about 4.5 stone which is hopefully doable in a year if I stick to it :)

Yes treats might be a good idea. I also need to make sure I go to the class every week as it is more motivating! The class I go to has a Zumba exercise class after the weigh in which I am doing for the first time tonight so it should be fun :)

6 stone Blush Sad.

I am going to be 40 next summer so want to have made a big impact on the weight loss before then. The exercise was the big motivator for me to join RC rather than the others. My first day today and I haven't done too badly, although need to start noting down what I eat so I can see how I've done.

I love their magic tape measure too Grin!

Right will start up RC thread and see if anyone else wants to join!
