Thought this might be a good way to rid myself of a few Xmas pounds.
Anyone else doing this?

I have been getting quite hungry too but am eating low fat snacks to help.
I definitely feel lighter and am sure I'm losing weight (or stomach is less bloated anyway!)
It will be worth it!(I keep saying to myself)

only had one bowl of cereal so far today-still feel pants! keep on keeping on everybody!

maisiemog · 06/01/2006 01:42

I didn't have any milk this morning, so had toast. then had a roll for lunch and have also had two toffee doughnuts.
The only thing I did right was have a bowl of cereal for dinner.
Oh well tomorrow's another day.

natmeistergeneral · 06/01/2006 17:32

fallen off the wagon myself a bit today myself. had some red wine and a couple of bits of chocolate i knicked off my dd1! mind you have v healthy tea lined up so matters could be worse.

maisiemog · 06/01/2006 18:29

Today is going quite well, but I haven't done the 2 cereal thing. I had muesli, then a ham and swiss cheese sandwich and fruit and I'm having two grilled burgers on buns with salad for dinner.
Oh and I just ate two chocolate liqueurs (how do you spell that??)

Auntyfatasbutter · 06/01/2006 18:32

natmeistergeneral · 07/01/2006 18:02

have really got back on track today-just had the cerealx2 and am having a massive plate of roasted vegetables for dinner. how is everybody else doing today?

Sai · 08/01/2006 13:12

Hi everyone.
I didn't have a good day (in terms of diet, anyway!) on Friday but got back on track yesterday and have done well today.
Anyone feel like they've lost weight yet?
My jeans feel loser.

I completely lost the plot yesterday and haven't even tried today, so I will start again tomorrow. Well done everyone for the first week.
Keep it up!

natmeistergeneral · 09/01/2006 21:06

how are you going girls? im really trying hard but the old jeans dont really feel any looser-still that familiar bulge resting on the waistband! gonna keep slogging away at it though, mind you another week seems a v long time!!

katetee · 10/01/2006 09:47

hiya
i have to admit im finding this tough. my appetite seems smaller, but that could be because im pig sick of cereal! I am struggling with the old constipation too, and am eating lots of fruit and drinking lots of water, but also not drinking (wine) so maybe its all doing different things to me ifswim!

Kidstrack2 · 10/01/2006 09:55

Hi ya Ladies Just to say I done this last year, and it does work, well for me and my next door neighbour it did! We encouraged each other even competeing to see who had drank the most water, I've never been to the toilet so much in my life due to the water, however I did have to substitute the Special K for Cheerios I felt the Special K made me feel really bloated, but I was fine with the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, I was 9st 4lb and dropped to 8st 11lb so it was the last bit of baby fat I had left to shift so ultimately the half stone was fine for me, I also ate lots of fruit and took multivitamins. Good Luck

Just started today - has anyone who has been doing this since the 1st of Jan lost any weight?

natmeistergeneral · 11/01/2006 14:14

i think something is happening but its only down to thw way my clothes feel as i don't own a set of scales. beginning to get pretty pissed off with cereal though!

Marie12 · 11/01/2006 20:44

anyone else? please give me some motivation!

Kerry17 · 11/01/2006 21:00

Hi everyone
Started last thrus so week completed tomorrow
sick and tired of bloody crunchy nuts messed up a little tuesday tho and had a slice of toast and some french bread as well as felt sick i was soo hungry lol! although i did have 3 bowls of the dredded stuff that day so hoping it would have cancelled out the mishap... wishfull thinking????

Marie12 · 14/01/2006 11:55

fell off the wagon after 3 days, can't do it. will just stick to healthy balanced diet i think!

Sai · 14/01/2006 16:16

I never knew 2 weeks was so long.
I've been bad but I've still lost weight!
Only 4lbs but I am happy with that considering what I've been eating (having sis staying for a week involved lots of food - esp icecream and chocs whilst watching Big Brother)
How is everyone else doing?
What are you doing after the 2 weeks?
Is anyone following a particular diet?

OP posts:
natmeistergeneral · 14/01/2006 21:17

have fallen off wagon a couple of times but thinj i do look slightly different. Am going to keep up a diet but just do it in my own way-it was a good kick start though.

3xamum · 08/01/2007 11:05

I've started this today. A year after baby no3 I can't keep using the excuse that I've just had a baby in explaination for my jelly belly

I think losing weight in your 30's is much harder than when I had my forst 2 in my 20's

me23 · 08/01/2007 17:56

3xamum · 10/01/2007 12:24

Going well so far, although I can't shake this dull headache. Think its sugar cravings!!

3xamum · 10/01/2007 12:25
