Hi All

I have been inspired by the Shreddies and Shredheds on this site and have just done my first L1D1 after having hte DVD sit on my player for a month! I have water on the knee right now so can't do press ups properly but loved the rest of it.

Need a daily Shred pal to keep me on the straight and narrow - have 16lbs to lose before begin of Jan. Am also doing Rosemary Conley but struggling with it right now - I need exercise and no injuries!

Anyone up for it?

I'll join you too but next week as Im away for a few days this week. I was 40 earlier this year and need to lose at least 3 stone. I also found out recently that for the last 18 months my H has been having an affair and so Ive asked him to leave. I need to shift some of this excess weight and start to feel better about myself.

bugsylugs · 01/11/2011 21:21

dusty glad you can join us hope you are enjoying your time away. Sorry to hear about H and well done for making all these positive moves for yourself we are here each step.

just done D3 off for shower and well earned slob/ rest in front of TV

bugsylugs · 01/11/2011 21:21

blister hope the knees are behaving and shred going ok

Billster · 09/11/2011 14:38

Ok sorry been off radar. Still shredding and also started with a personal trainer doing TRX which is supported bands - great for me as very little lower body stress but oh are my arms and abs feeling the stress instead! How is everyone doing? Sticking at it? If I go off radar again, I apologies in advise. A friend has very bad cancer diagnosis and we need to raise £75000 for his treatment. So frantically gathering friends, venues and raffle prizes together for a fundraising bash at beginning Of Dec. any ideas for fundraising chuck my way - I guess there's an MN board somewhere for it too Wink xx

dustystarry · 09/11/2011 17:25

I have been rubbish as having a horrible week. I am determined to do it though

bugsylugs · 09/11/2011 20:41

blister sorry to hear about friend Where are they going for treatment. Quite a few Indian/ chinese restuarants will do charity nights where they charge less put on a set meal and you can get proceeds they are quite into charity work this may well count. Or if you have a restuarant locally that does a BOGOF night maybe they could charge for all meals but give to you the amount of what would have been the free one. we did this on Mon for rotary raised a few hundred.

Good luck
