the final push - anyone else close to goal and needing a kick up the bum?

I have been slowly but surely eating healthily all the way down to my initial goal and am now nearly at my "yippeee!!!!" goal. But, although I am obviously smaller and getting lots of great comments I am getting bored/losing motivation. I want to lose another 7 pounds (was less but have just jumped up a little this last couple of weeks Blush )

I don't want to hear stop now. This is totally do-able but I need a bit of a final push.

Care to join me?

Sometimes a day or two of over-eating can actually get things going again - I know that's happened in the past. (She says, having gone to a conference today and stocked up on pure stodge for lunch.)

3 1/2 lbs is fantastic - well done!

I weighed this morning and had lost 1lb, so it's going back in the right direction. AND - dug out some trousers from the wardrobe this morning that I hadn't worn for about four years and I had to wear a belt to stop them falling down! they fitted perfectly!

Actually, a Monday weigh-in is better for me too, mainly because I tend to indulge in a couple of pints on Friday night. So the bloated look on Saturday morning is probably not the best.

Otherwise, doing well this week. Sticking to the semi-healthy stuff. Breakfast today was muesli and yoghurt. Lunch will be a mozzarella & tomato salad. Dinner macaroni cheese - ok not as good, but with plenty of greens on the side.

Gave the gym a miss today, but I'll try and squeeze it in tomorrow. Definitely looking and feeling better - much more energy than before too. Hooray!

How's your week been?

Sounds like you're on a roll. Well done, keep it up.

I've been okay-ish, the last few days have been a bit too yummy and my period arrived today so that explains that. Bit tired too. Determined to get back in the groove tomorrow, I've bought some previously unheard of tight jeans and plan to wear them tomorrow!

Got to hit that goal one of these days!
