Low fat, low carb, high protein shake?

Hi. Could anybody recommend a meal replacement shake that is low in carbs and fat but high in protein and, more importantly, palatable?? I need to use them as my breakfasts. Cheers all.

oooh, I hope there is such a thing, that would be great!

Depends on how low in carbs you mean.

I have a shake made with this, unsweetened soy milk, porridge oats and a banana every morning for breakfast.

Ah but that has to be prepared; I mean the kind that comes powdered and all you do is add water/milk and shake?

This one, in mint chocolate is fantastic (other flavours can be a bit hit and miss - sometimes they seem to change the formula)

They delivered fast when I ordered from them too.

Oooh - and do them in a liquidizer with a couple of ice-cubes and they come out lovely and thick

bananamam · 27/09/2011 14:28

Do you use this as a meal replacement?

ChinaInYourHands · 28/09/2011 10:06

Yes, do you ChunkyPickle?

Maximuscle Promax is good, and lactose free. It is expensive though... I mix it with unsweetened soy milk for brekkie.

Avidlite shakes are low carb.

You can get them ready mixed in choc and banana flavour. Or in powdered form in a selection of flavours.

Can only get them online though the Avidlite website.
