Has anyone any experience of these? After 3 pregnancies my stomach is an absolute mess and although I'm dieting and exercising, I need some help with toning

I use a power plate machine in the gym. Ok for toning thighs, not so great for stomachs. Personally I only use as its in the gym I wouldn't pay extra for it.

For stomach best to keep on losing weight and do 30 DS each day and do extra planks or other abs exercises from 30 DS whenever you get a free moment.

I go to a specialist power plate studio and have seen fantastic results for using the machines 3x a week for 30 mins. I do lots of other exercise too but I feel that since I started doing power plates things have stepped up.

It's great for all over toning - you just need to know what positions to do! In our classes we do very intense abdominal workouts - and they DO work!

Agree with RnB if you have power plate classes or personal trainer you will get good results. Many people think they can just stand on the plate and wobble the fat off but you have to work hard. I do 3 times a week with a trainer and i certainly see a huge difference especially with my core, my legs and bum, doing plank and pilates based positions and using weights and kettlebells is the way to go.

As well as 30 Day Shred, Gillian ( can't remember her surname ! ) has a 6 week 6 pack DVD, which is also really good. I now combine that and the 30 day shred ( one of the other every day ) and Ive seen brilliant results. Good luck

I'm not using for that length of time, more like 5 mins 3x a week. TBH I don't like using them for abs as I feel a bit sea-sick! I agree you can't just stand on it - I do squats and lunges on it, they have classes in the gym which I do from time to time.

yes I've tried them, first session: AMAZING! sort of felt is still working the next day, second session: okay, yes still very good, not the "hit" I got first time, then every time after that got more and more disappointing and some I didn't feel at all no matter how much I changed it
